About Us
Welcome to Lin's Kids Child Care (LKC) Center - a family-owned and operated licensed early learning program located in Baltimore, MD. With 17 years of experience, we offer families Monday through Friday childcare and after-school care services. Our child care center is licensed by the Maryland State Department of Education, Office of Childcare. At our early learning program, our center provides a diverse Christian-based program with a focus on traditional educational philosophies. LKC has a Maryland EXCELS Quality Assurance Rating of Level Three and offers hot breakfast, lunch and snacks daily. All of our staff are credentialed through the Maryland Child Care Credential Program helping us to prioritize building partnerships with enrolled families and children to meet their needs.
Our Story
Our Director and Owner has served children and families in Baltimore, Maryland as a licensed child care service option for 17 years. Learning how to nurture and care for children and others has always felt natural learning from the matriach of her own family, Linda "Lin". Our Director takes pride in our program and the quality care services we provide.
Our Philosophy
At LKC, we believe that every child is unique and has their own set of talents and abilities. Our progressive and holistic early childhood education philosophy focuses on providing the environment and tools your child needs to thrive to the best of their abilities. We expose children to different environments and various learning experiences, allowing them to explore their self-awareness and gain a sense of the world around them. Once they leave LKC, they're fully prepared for the next stage of their young lives.
